After informed consent is obtained from patients, assistance are given for the registration of chronic diseases, as well as assistance with registration of chronic prescribed medication at the Medical Aid.
A patient noted the other day... "She wasn't registered for epilepsy, she didn't know about the required process. She thanked the sister in tears once the chronic epilepsy medication was approved from her PMB benefits and she didn't have to pay out of pocket for this medication anymore."
